The Olympia Monica de Luxe model originated in Western Germany. However, it is surprising and rare that this particular machine was made in 1978, in the UK.
Compared to previous Olympia models, the Olympia Monica de Luxe evolved through some transformation, such as the light and extremely comfortable keys, a hard plastic body and wide lever knobs for better grip.
The Olympia Monica de Luxe works very well. It just needs a new black ribbon as it's dried out and the typewriter comes in its original case.
Overall condition is very good. The Olympia Monica de Luxe operates very well. Minor signs of age and use are present and needs a minor clean in the inside.
