The camera in the pocket of many a photojournalist and profession before digital cameras broke past the R10,000 price barrier, was the Olympus MJU II. Unlike many compact cameras of the day, it did not offer a zoom lens, rather opting to go with a fixed, 35mm f/2.8 which could rival many a SLR camera lens.
The MJU II could weather a little rain due to it's moisture seals and was super quick.
Discovered this little guy hiding out in one of my camera bags that had gone missing in a move. Its in great condition still.
