The 5x optical zoom (28-140mm, equivalent to a 35mm camera) lets you get close to your subject. Or you can boost this magnification to 10x with Super Resolution Zoom for sharp detail at a distance. The 28mm wide-angle lens lets you zoom back out for panoramas and group shots.
Originally designed for D-SLR cameras, iHS technology combines high-speed TruePic VI processing with a high-sensitivity backlit CMOS sensor – for faster response and a dramatic improvement in low-light performance.
As well as Full 30p/60i HD Movie quality, high-speed shooting capabilities now capture the fastest moving objects in frame-by-frame clarity with 120fps in HD and even 240fps in HVGA. Record even that which isn’t visible to the human eye – then play back in slow motion on a big Full HD TV.
