The Omas Tassili Sahara Prehistorci Painting was issued in 1996 as a limited edition of 1500 pieces.The pen celebrates the XIII International Convention of Prehistoric and Protohistoric science which took place in Forlì in September of 1996. The design of the cap displays parts of the drawings found in the Tassili caves in Africa which date before 4000 B.C.. The material choosen for the cap is bronze recalling one of the most important periods in the history of mankind; the Bronze Age dating around 1500 B.C..
