Tripple Date Calendar from mid 1940's

in mint condition

You are bidding on a highly collectable ORIGINAL two-tone (Steel and solid Gold Bezel) Omega Cosmic Moonphase # 2486/1 with original Dial. These moonphases are becoming very rare with the original dial as shown on the watch which I am offering and versions in steel and solid gold bezel even more rare (most are plaque and where the gold plating has worn off).

This one is from the mid 1940's and is in an excellent original condition. The dial has aged beautifully over the past 60 or so years and has a lot of vintage charm! The Omega manual movement Cal 27 DL PC-381 is working perfectly as well as all the functions. The case is in an excellent condition and measures 37mm excluding the crown. The band marked Omega and with Omega buckle .

A highly collectable watch which is still very much undervalued

and highly sought after.

There are a few Omega Cosmic Moonphase watches in poor condition on Ebay at prices up to US$ 5500.00
