Pale cloth boards, titles and decorations to spine. Promotional leaflet for the present work loosely inserted. Two ownership inscriptions to front free endpaper, some chips, tears and creases to the jacket. Very good overall in a very good jacket.

Boss, a trained psychoanalytic psychiatrist, was briefly analysed by Freud and was a close friend of Martin Heidegger. The present work is Boss' attempt to systematise the practice of an existential psychotherapy, continuing the theoretical work of Ludwig Binswanger.
