A MAGNIFICENTLY STATELY CANDLESTICK DESIGNED IN AN EDWARDIAN STYLE WITH A LARGE GRADUATED BASE IN COPPER BROADER THAN THE STANDARD AND MILDLY RISING TOWARDS A BRASS JOINT ABOVE WHICH A GRADUATED COPPER NODULE IS CROWNED BY THE BRASS CANDLE SOCKET AND BOBECHE. THE PROMINENT BASE HAS BEEN WEIGHTED WITH A SOLID METAL AT THE CENTER OF WHICH A RECESS CONTAINS THE BOLT WITH WHICH TO DISASSEMBLE THE CANDLESTICK.

THIS IS AN EXQUISITE DECORATIVE ITEM SINCE ITS APPEARANCE IS COMPLETELY UNIQUE AND BEAUTIFULLY NOTICEABLE.

BASE ON THE STAMP UNDERNEATH I ESTIMATE THE ITEM WAS MANUFACTURED IN APPROX 1920

STAMPS/MARKS ETC : THE BASE IS STAMPED - "34 20"

CONDITION : THE BRASS CANDLE SOCKET RIM IS BENT ON ONE SIDE WHICH I IMAGINE CAN BE EASILY RECTIFIED. ASIDE FROM THIS THE CANDLESTICK IS IN PERFECT CONDITION WITH NO BREAKAGES OR DAMAGES
