MIKE TALJAARD ART

The handle was finished with Brass fittings and the kettle is a stove top teapot shape.  The copper teapot from the bottom to the fop of the handle stands 310 mm high.  From the bottom to the bottom of the lid, 180 mm and from the bottom to the top of the lid holder 220 mm high. The widest diameter of the copper teapot is 200 in diameter.

PHOTOS WERE TAKEN WITH THE  FLASH ON.

From the teapot to the end of the pouring out pipe is 80 mm.  The weight of the copper teapot is 1.8 kg.

The top of the lid seems to be made out of brass.

The handle is made out of copper and is 21 mm in diameter and 115mm long.

The handle holder has had a lot of knocks an seemed to be made out of brass, which tells that the pot might be over 100 years old.

The artist who made and built this kettle, inscribed ROVE DEPOSEE and Google translate seem to tell us it means ROVE TRADEMARK [possibly French].

There are no leaks or cracks in the pot.  This is a show piece (ornament) and the kettle had it's days of working boiling liquids, referring to bumps here and there.

The tea pot  is located in South Africa. See Shipping Details for South Africa and Internationally. If you buy internationally, then we need to email each other re the shipping costs and handling fees.
