Origins and History
Breeder: The variety was developed by Brad Gates of Wild Boar Farms in Napa, California.
Genetic Source: In 2009, Gates discovered a single plant in a row of Mortgage Lifter tomatoes that was producing fruit twice the size of its neighbors.
Selection Process: Gates selected seeds from the largest fruits of that specific plant over several generations to stabilize the variety for extreme size.
Public Release: It was officially introduced to the public in late 2014.

Size: Known for its massive proportions, the fruit typically weighs between 1 and 3 pounds (approx. 450g to 1.4kg).
