ONION RED CREOLE HEIRLOOM
Short day, medium maturing, red onion. Although a little paler than other red onions, its slightly flattened globe is still very attractive. It is an excellent keeper and will store for up to 7 months. Due to the fact that it is well adapted and easy to grow in a variety of conditions and produces well, Red Creole is great for beginner gardeners and those that like low maintenance gardens.
These seeds can be sown from the end of Summer season, (February/March) all the way through to the start of Spring (end of September)
For gardeners who like an approx. seed count, there are approx 220 to 250 seeds per gram of onion seed. A 5 gram packet ought to have a seed count of approx. 1100 seeds to 1250 seeds.
