Used as sprouts

An Onion seed produces a tiny onion plant - like a miniature scallion. Usually a sprout is a root, but in the case of the Onions it is a little shoot which tastes just like an Onion. Onion takes about 10 - 15 days to sprout.

Used as microgreens

Green leaves with onion flavour.
