Van Schaik, Pretoria 1938.  A fine copy in the original pale blue pictorial card wrappers, PLUS the original (possibly only extant) serialised 1938 newspaper edition (clippings).  A interesting anecdote is that JC Smuts expressed interest in re-tracing the route followed by the Louis Trichardt expedition after reading de Kock’s book.  The 55pp saddle-stitched booklet has photos, illustrations and a map, a presentable copy of a scare publication.  The serialised edition mirrors the contents of the book.
