Opinel France - Pocket Knife Beech Wood Handle - No.8 Virobloc Brevete
Opinel No 8 Stainless steel knife features a Beech Wood handle and blade length of 8cm. Opinel is a French symbol representing nature, quality and reliability. The traditional Opinel blade is a Yatagan blade. Its shape is inspired by a Turkish saber with a lifted tip.
Invented in 1955 the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all folding knives from No 06, out of stainless steel, it has two sections one fixed and one sliding to lock the blade once open for safety in use.
Very good, with age toning and light wear, note the tip is slightly bent and worn.
