Opteka Digital Slide Duplicator HD2

This item is in usable condition, but has an issue. It seems like the diffuser glass has come loose at one stage and has been glued back on, it has some marks on the diffuser which would need a special clean. Other than thatm the duplicator is in good condition.

-Detachable achromatic 10 diopter macro lens can also be used separately
-A lens with a focal length between 80 and 120 mm (based on full-frame sensor) is required to achieve full size copies, larger frames require a higher focal length

Tips for Better Copying:
The best results are obtained with well exposed, low to medium contrast slides.
The opal diffuser at the end of the Digital Duplicator helps to provide even illumination.
A good light source is required. Try different sources until desired results are achieved.
(**NEVER** use the sun as your light source - which would damage your eyes and camera)
Filter effects can be added by placing suitable filters between the camera and the duplicator.
Shooting in RAW helps, you decide white balance later at the computer, with many possibilities which you can view and judge by eye.
Some slides may require you to change from autofocus to manual.
A tripod is recommended to reduce camera shake.
When copying with an SLR camera, use an 80mm ~120mm zoom lens and set the diaphragm at F11 or smaller for sharper pictures."
