OPTEX 862-22-BXS-R Xwave2 BXS Shield Wireless Outdoor Detector (Xwave2)
The OPTEX 862-22-BXS-R is a professional wireless outdoor curtain PIR detector designed to protect the immediate boundary of a home, business, warehouse or commercial site. Part of the OPTEX BX Shield range, it delivers long-range perimeter detection with a total coverage of up to 24m, split into 12m detection on the left side and 12m detection on the right side.
This detector is ideal for protecting building perimeters, walls, windows, driveways, garage approaches, courtyards and narrow outdoor zones where accurate boundary protection is required. Its slim, modern housing allows it to blend neatly into most residential and commercial environments while delivering dependable intrusion detection.
The BXS-R uses four PIR sensors, with two sensors on each side, to create stable outdoor detection and reduce unwanted alarms. The left and right detection areas can be adjusted independently, allowing installers to tailor each side according to the site layout. Each side can be set to different detection distances, making it suitable for areas with uneven boundaries, pathways, walls or nearby vegetation.
Advanced SMDA logic helps distinguish genuine intrusions from nuisance triggers caused by temperature changes, moving plants, pets or environmental interference. It also includes extreme high detection mode, double conductive shielding and secure tamper protection for reliable outdoor performance.
