Independent left/ right motion detection and CCTV connection
The customizable settings of the OPTEX BXS Shield Wireless Outdoor PIR give you full control over the detection range, sensitivity, and alarm output for each side. With options to set the detection distance from 2.5m to 12m and the sensitivity from low to extremely high, this device can detect even a 1 degree Celsius temperature difference.

Versatile design
The BX Shield curtain sensor is designed with the user in mind, featuring a 90 degree unlocking system for easy access to the settings area.
A spirit level assists in fixing the sensor straight, and optional black and silver face covers allow it to seamlessly blend with its surroundings. Experience effortless use and a sleek appearance with the outdoor curtain sensor.
Four PIRs in one sensor for best reliability
The reason for having two PIRs on each side is to guarantee optimal performance in outdoor environments. The OPTEX BXS SHIELD motion sensor has two passive infrared beams on each side, one directed towards the ground and the other away from the sensor.
Both beams must be triggered for the detection to be confirmed, making it possible to ignore small-to-medium sized animals, such as dogs.
