• 180-degree panoramic coverage: The sensor monitors a complete 180-degree field of view, providing seamless wall-to-wall detection from a single mounting point.

• Independent detection zones: The device features two separate 90-degree detection areas (left and right) with individual alarm outputs, allowing for precise integration with PTZ cameras or specific zone monitoring.

• Customisable detection range: Both the left and right detection distances can be independently adjusted from 2.5m to 12m, ensuring the sensor covers exactly the area you need without monitoring unwanted zones.

• Intelligent false alarm reduction: The onboard SMDA (Super Multidimensional Analysis) algorithm differentiates between genuine human intrusion and environmental noise like swaying vegetation, climate changes, or insects.

• Reliable outdoor operation: Designed for durability, the unit is resistant to raindrops, spiders and automatically adjusts its sensitivity to compensate for intense sunlight conditions.

• Flexible sensitivity settings: Each detection side can be set to high, medium, or low sensitivity, allowing you to tailor the sensors response to the specific requirements of the environment.

Did You Know?

• The WXI-ST uses "AND" logic to prevent false alarms, meaning it will only trigger an alarm signal when both the upper and lower detection areas detect movement simultaneously. This effectively ignores small animals or objects that might trigger only one layer of the sensor.

• You can physically alter the detection area using the built-in sliding masking shutters. By simply rotating these shutters on the device, you can physically block out specific sections of the detection area without needing extra tools or plates.

• This sensor features an automatic walk test mode that initiates as soon as you close the front cover. It runs for three minutes, allowing you to quickly verify your coverage areas and sensitivity settings without needing to power cycle the device or trigger the alarm panel repeatedly.
