Orbea melanantha
Large, robust Orbea with thick stems, nice looking plants even without the flowers ! Flowers in a cluster with about 4 to 7 flowers per cluster. They are maroon red to brown in colour and don't smell too good !! Given time these plants make large clumps up to 80cm. in diameter.
Plants on sale are rooted cuttings, which are quite big already and can be planted into a 15 or 18cm. pot.
