Description
Michael Anderson directs this action thriller starring Richard Harris and Charlotte Rampling. When Captain Nolan (Harris) kills an orca whale and its infant at sea, the surviving parent sets off to the mainland seeking revenge. As the locals, one by one, fall prey to the whale's rampant bloodlust, pressure mounts on Nolan to return to the sea and take the whale down.
Nolan sets sail, accompanied by scientist Rachel Bedford (Rampling) and local Jacob Umilak (Will Sampson), ready to stake everything in a climactic man-versus-beast showdown. The cast also includes Bo Derek, Keenan Wynn and Robert Carradine.
