The Orico's 6818 Series SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to SATA 6G adapter is designed to support all 3.5' and 2.5' SATA drives up to any capacity of 4TB+.

The SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to SATA 6G adapter comes with an external AC adapter that provides up to 2.5 amps of power for either 3.5' or 2.5' hard drives. The adapter is backward compatible with USB 2.0, but recommended for use with SuperSpeed USB 3.0 in order to achieve optimal transfer rates.

The 6818 Series adapter provides a versatile means for accessing data on SATA storage devices without having to place those devices in an external case or install in a computer.

• Docking station connects via SuperSpeed USB 3.0 (up to 10x as fast as USB 2.0)
• UASP support for maximum performance on operating systems that support it (e.g. Windows 8)
