Inspiration Behind the Painting:
This painting was inspired by the farmlands of the Swellendam District. I wanted to capture the magical full moon as it breaks its way over the horizon to create a mysterious and whimisical landscape painting.
I've used gold foil in the landscape to add a dash of dazzle to the scene.
These little paintings make for excellent birthday/wedding/housewarming gifts or perfect fillers for those small bare wall spaces that need a little lift.
