Original thick paper Boer war era picture of a bearded burgher on his horse.
picture measures 23cm x 19 cm. No markings on either front or back of the picture.
The edges of the picture is badly damaged and there are spots on the picture itself (please see pictures and judge for yourself)
There are large glue spots on the back
I got the picture on the pretence that it was a member of the Kroonstad kommando. (I CAN NOT CONFIRM THIS)
The rifle looks like a martini henry. these rifles were used during the early parts of the war but was later replaced with captured british .303's
