"At is well known for numerous projects in the performing arts, but he loved painting since he was a child. My inspiration to paint is mostly derived from images from my childhood. Clouds and mountains fascinate me.
He works in various mediums and paints landscapes, harvester scenes of the Cape, District six scenes, seascapes and clowns. His landscapes are especially inspired by the Eastern Free State. His work also reflects his great love for the people and various regions of the Cape. The use of vibrant color and the impression of freedom that is reflected in his work is evident of Ats personality."
