Well to the collectors of Boer War items, here is a special item not seen often on Bid or Buy, this sword has the name Cape Police inscribed into the blade, I am selling this item on behalf of a very dear friend of mine who we are assisting. I would love to have this sabre in my collection, however I cannot afford it.
The Cape Police were also known to some people or referred to as The Cape Mounted Police, this term is in fact incorrect, they were not the Cape Mounted Police. There were many units and it would be best for you to rather just do a Google search and find out the history there instead, but the Boer War experts will know the history of such a rare item.
