Map size is 44 x 33 cm. Sheet size is 44.5 cm x 37 cm. Hand coloured. Very attractive hand coloured centre cartouche. A small amount of edgewear to sheet including one tiny chipjust inside line border not affecting map text or lines, else in good bright condition with no fading or browning. Protected by light Japanese paper backing , professionally done. Will frame very well. This is the original 1675 issue from the book Britannia, which was the first road map book ever to be produced. The road is beautifully depicted in six scrolled strips, each with a compass rose.
