A charming bright original hand coloured aquatint dated 1814. Part of a series by the artist William Daniell of the coastline of the Britain, that has been described as the last great artist's voyage before photography was invented. In a green silk mount and a thin black frame that shows some signs of wear. Dimensions are 46 by 43 cm.
Originals of this series go for up to 100 pounds on the internet. And they are normally sold unmounted!
