The artists herself confirmed these are the originals and mailed me the information on whom she sold it to originally. I will supply that on request. 

Courier is door to door R500 or collection in Montana Pretoria. 

Set of three. Painted for the 2010 period of Lava Pots period. Similar sets sell on auciton for up to R12 000

With frames the set is 1.88meter by 1.05meter. 

NOTE the middle painting frame is damaged (I have the piece)

I suggest refraiming as the frames are not strong. 

ARTIST LEE TEMPLETON

Lee Templeton, a self-taught artist, born a Commonwealth British Subject, in Bulawayo, (Rhodesia), Zimbabwe. At

the age of 6, she began school classes beneath a Sagole baobab tree, in a little dusty village, Chiredzi. During her

teens, together with her family, they immigrated to South Africa. Lee has been twice widowed, but has since

married. Lees home studio is in Eldoraigne, Pretoria, South Africa. Lee has been practising fine art since 1992, a

practising artist since 2009 and a professional gallery artist, since 2018.

Subject choices

2010 LAVA POT series

Contemporary, overscale, still life study, on large, deep edge canvases. The titles were inspired by the precious

gems that formed during the magma stage of lava.

2017 AFRICAS VAST HORIZONS series contemporary impressionistic sub-Sahara landscapes

Capturing on canvas, the panoramic horizons and tree-landscapes of Namaqualand, Botswana and Namibia. Lees

palette, projects the vibrant colours, of vast and spectacular azure blue skies. The magical and serene moments of

dawn, tinged with hues of, rose and Naples-yellow. The majestic Baines and Sagole baobab trees, reach out to all

creatures, great and small, to seek shelter on or beneath. Our majestic, living fossils.

Materials

Lees medium of choice is a heavy body artist acrylic, applied lavishly onto a cotton canvas or gesso board, using

brush and palette-knife techniques, creating movement and texture. Lees technique and genre, is described as

Avant-Garde Impressionism.

Each of her artworks are marked with a reference number. This reference number also indicates how many

artworks she has completed to date. Each artworks image is on record, together with the corresponding

reference number. To date. Lee has completed 1429 fine art pieces.
