THIS LEGO SET IS ANOTHER HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER CHAMBER OFSECRETS (4730) FROM 2002!
This Chamber of Secrets Lego was one of the earliest sets to be released. It retailed for $69.99 back in 2002 and is based on the movie of the same name.
This is a truly remarkable set!. The Chamber of Secrets was inevitably created under the Dungeons of Hogwarts Castle during Medieval Times by Salazar Slytherin, who disagreed with the other Founders of Hogwarts on the Merits of Blood Purity.
It originally came out with 591 pieces. It also contains 5mini figures for Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Tom Riddle and Professor Lockhart as well as a Basilisk and Fawkes the phoenix. OF THESE THIS SET HAVE ALL APART FROM RON WEASLEY AND PROF LOCKHART.
The mechanism for this set fitting together is very clever and it has a great range of exclusive pieces and figures which have pushed up the price.
JUDGING IT TO BE ABOUT 85% COMPLETE WITH SOME OF THE BUILDING PARTS AND ACCESSORIES MISSING. THIS SET STILL HAS THE RARE FAWKES THE PHOENIX AS WELL AS THE BASILISK. TOM RIDDLE IS ALSO A RARE MINI FIGURE AS IS GINI WEASLEY.
This set is very collectable and a complete set is worth a lot today. About $135.
