Here on auction we have an original set of new condition SADF era patt 80 "donkey brown" canvas webbing 3-point shoulder yoke suspenders WITH ADDED 2 x soft olive green nylon "Niemoller" type (comfort pads) padded loose, add-on pads.

The yoke seen here can be used with ANY std web-belt to make a lightweight "jippo" webbing belt-kit - the 3 bottom loops slide over the width of the web-belt and then are adjusted.

I suspect these pads were re-cycled items from previous air-supply para dropped kit strapping/ rigging re-purposed here and put into use in the bush for added comfort - SA SF or 32 Bn likley would have done this/ seen a gap and made-a-plan in the bush in SWA/ Angola ;-)
