David Allen always signed his art as [David]. Most of his art has a Cape Town mood and he liked to paint old Cape Town scenes. He most possibly got his ideas from old Black and White pictures and then with impressionism, created beautiful scenes.

The back of the frame. It was possibly painted late 1990's. Some of his other paintings date back to 1995 to 2002. The artist wrote the information on the back of the painting.

The art was newly framed and the value of the framing is R550. The dimensions of the FRAME 490 X 400 MM, ART 360 X 270 MM. Width of inner frame 35 mm and outer frame 30 mm x 30 mm high.
