Original Post-WW2 German Army Esbit Stove with Fuel Tablets and Original Packaging.
This is a vintage German military Esbit pocket folding stove. In good, vintage condition with slight surface rust in places. It comes with an original fuel tablet package (still contains 3 tablets). Also included is the stove's original packaging with printing still vivid.
The stove is a compact, personal heating and cooking device designed for German troops. It is made of stamped metal with hinged sides, allowing it to fold into a pocket-sized box. It operates using solid fuel tablets, which were smoke-free for use in combat conditions.
The design originates from WWII and was contracted by the German military. This post-WW2 example is identical to the pre-1945 version, apart from the lid. The earlier version's lid had straight lines while this version has the "teeth" (please see images).
