RHODESIAN ARMY Tri Lux Sight L2A2

An original Sight Unit Infantry Trilux L2A2 for FN FAL and SLR Rifles. It has the original British broad arrow marking and its original Rhodesian Army combat paint, which is typical of the Rhodesian Army as they often painted their weapons. There are remanents of the Rhodesian Army (RA) serial numbers, the serial numbers were defaced after the war by the Zimbabwean government (See images of defaced serial numbers). These sights were either delievered to the Rhodesian Army before UDI(Unilateral Declaration of Independence) and sanctions or they were smuggled into the country during the sanction period.

The Original Trilux L2A2's has a tip (the black line inside the sight - see images) which illuminates for night work and lasts about 10 years, so this sight's red glowing tip has worn out. It can be replaced by an LED light, go see this link http://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php?t=18466
