Sony PSP 1001 with USB-C Charging Port

This is an original first-generation Sony PSP model 1001 in black colour. This handheld console is in perfect working condition except for the "HOME" button. There is no battery included, however, I've been using it while being plugged in. The original charging barrel jack has been replaced with a modern-day USB-C port. This means you can use your phone's charging cable and 5-volt charger instead of carrying around the PSP's factory charger.

I cannot verify if the UMD drive works as I've been playing games off a micro SD card in the MS Pro Duo Micro-SD Card adapter, however, the laser moves and lights up red, and the motor spins. The PSP is running the official stock Sony firmware version 6.20 from 18 November 2009. The USB-C port is held in place with rock-hard two-part epoxy so it's super solid when plugging and unplugging the USB-C cable!
