Original Steiff Bendy Jocko Collectable Vintage Plush Monkey. 10cm.

Here we have a dear Vintage, 10cm, Steiff Jocko monkey, very collectable.

He is head jointed, bendy style, and made from lovely brown mohair. His face, ears, hands, and feet are made from peach colored felt. His face is detailed with lovely black button eyes and a hand painted nose and mouth.

This postwar Jocko was produced in 9 sizes ranging from 10 to 80cm from 1949 through 1981. This particular example was produced towards the end of that time frame. He would look adorable in the arms of a small to medium scaled doll from any era.

Jocko is in excellent, clean condition with no issues at all. He retains his chest tag and big blank button (indicating he was an overproduction item, but otherwise perfect) as his Steiff IDs. As an overproduction item, he never had an ear tag.

Credited with inventing the first teddy bear in 1902, the company is best known for its Button in Ear trademark.
