On offer is a beautiful and rare vintage 1960's ladies' Omega automatic mechanical timepiece in running condition (needs a service).
This Omega Geneve Ladymatic automatic (reference 2978-61SC) features a cross-hair dial.
There is no strap included.
Dimensions:
case width (excluding crown): 20mm, lug width: 11mm, lug to lug: 26mm.
Dial and Hands:
Features a white cross hair dial, with gold hour markers and black inserts. Aged-related spots/marks visible. The dial is marked with the Omega logo, "Geneve", "Ladymatic" and "Swiss made". Gold hour and minute hands with black inserts and gold seconds hand.
Case, Crown and Crystal :
The case is stainless steel in good overall condition (no dents), although shows some age-related wear and scratches (on the back).
Omega marked crown. Acrylic crystal.
Movement :
Omega cal.455 self-winding (automatic) with 17 jewels.
It is in running condition (all functions working), although it is losing time. Service history is unknown.
A service is recommended.
