A VERY WELL EXECUTED ORIGINAL WATER COLOUR PAINTING OF A FLORAL STILL LIFE WITH MAGNOLIAS. THIS LOVELY PAINTING WAS PAINTED BY PRETORIA ARTIST VALERY KAYAT IN 1985. THE PAINTING IS FRAMED IN A VERY NICE THIN WHITE FRAME WITH MOUNT AND INNER FRAME AND IS PROTECTED BY GLASS. IT IS IN GOOD CONDITION. IT IS SIGNED AND DATED. THE PAINTING IS QUITE LARGE AND MEASURES 57 x 48 cm WITH FRAME AND 39 x 28 cm WITHOUT FRAME. IN THE IMAGE ABOVE YOU CAN SEE THE PAINTING AS SOLD. THE COLOURS ARE LESS BRIGHT THAN IN THE ACTUAL PAINTING BECAUSE IT WAS PHOTOGRAPHED THROUGH GLASS (SEE THE NEXT IMAGE TO GET A BETTER IDEA OF THE TRUE COLOURS).

NOTE THAT I HAVE LISTED ANOTHER PAINTING OF MAGNOLIAS BY THE SAME ARTIST ON THIS CRAZY WEDNESDAY AUCTION. IT IS THE SAME SIZE AND IS IDENTICALY FRAMED. THE TWO MAKE A LOVELY PAIR - SO DO HAVE A LOOK AT THE OTHER ONE.
