This is an original unmarked WW2 German Army Black Wound Badge, the lowest of the three grades they were awarded in.
The Obverse of the badge has a lot of the black paint missing, not detracting from the overall look of the badge.
These were worn by the soldiers during combat, this one having that real "been there" look.
Rear of badge retains both functioning pin and catch as well as most of its finish. Swastika covered in photos.
