On offer is a beautiful and very ornate letter opener, manufactured in Greece. The letter opener measures 23,5 cm in length. It is stamped “Athens” on the blade; it is quite heavy and is manufactured from metal – although the type of metal is unknown. It is in the form of a sword and sheath. The letters “B.R.” are engraved on the blade – these not bearing any relationship to the manufacturer, but most probably to the previous owner. This is a most beautiful and functional item, which would grace any desk.
