Ian Heath Ltd of Birmingham England traded under the name of Ianthe from c 1952 and I believe the trademark was revised in 1988 to carry a crown above the cartouche. This pair is each stamped on the Base......"Silver Plate IANTHE of England"
Each of these is equipped with a detachable Nozzle (the top part where the candle sits) and each has a layer of dark Velt underneath.
This Pair is IDEAL for Decorative and/or Ornamental purposes in ANY home since their elegant and attractive design awards them an adaptability which not many other candleholders/sticks can claim to possess.
