Rare Book. First Edition. Paperback, 191 pp. Condition: Good. Binding tight, text block complete and clean--no loose or missing pages; no highlighting, no underlining, no marginalia or annotations. Foxing on insides of cover, front and back, and introductory and final pages. Very occasional foxing throughout text block. Natural age-related tanning of all pages throughout. Small dampstain to heel of spine--but no buckling of pages as a result. Lower corner of front cover pierced by sharp object; the impact was transferred through first seven leaves, leaving a small ding with a tiny hole on the lower corner of each page. Spine creased with rubbing and light scuffing to the hinges. Edges of the head and heel of spine cover are chipped--without affecting the signatures below, which remain intact and tightly bound. 15mm closed tear to top hinge of front cover. Light shelf- and edgewear, uniform light foxing with tanning to front and back covers, A single fold accross the tip of front-cover top corner; corners lightly rubbed, but reasonably sharp and not dog-eared. Previous owner's name in blue ballpoint on half-title.
