Published in 1941 - from what I can ascertain is that this is a second edition as it states: "Originally issued in aid of SA Mayors' National Fund and now re-issued with revisions and additions in aid of the SA Gifts and Comforts Fund."

Either way - pretty early copy of this highly desirable recipe book of old favourites of Isie Smuts. A collector's item.

Softcover with markings to boards and mild chipping to spine. Gift inscription on inside cover. Pages have age toned. Binding still good - the pages are sewn in instead of glued.
