We used 6 x 8mm Austrian Glass crystal. In our Lady's colour - Pale translucent blue with Sky glass crystal AB -  Each crystal is capped with tiny flower spacers, which in turn has tiny glass seed beads on either side.  The medal of Our Lady Untier of knots / pray for us.

Our Speciality rosaries and chaplets are handmade in South Africa. This devotion became known in the 18th century, originally for help in a difficult marriage. In the early 17th century, a noble couple were on the brink of divorce, and their priest prayed before Our Lady of Victory, holding up a ribbon (symbolic of the ribbon placed over the hands of a bridal couple) praying that all the knots in the marriage might be untangled. The marriage was saved.

Some years later, a priest relative of theirs, Hieronymus Ambrosius Langenmantel (1666-1709) of Augsburg, commissioned this painting, Our Lady Undoer of Knots, for a family altar.

This devotion goes beyond marital problems, and can be used during any other kind of crisis.
