Oval bolstered mortise chisel

No reserve, fair starting price. This is an auction and has no Buy-it-now option.

Fantastic old rugged "pig sticker" in need of a handle, easily enough made to fit the new owners hand. 160mm long blade with a popular 1/4" edge. Great help for making mortises by hand and takes no prisoners. Was lapped at the rear of the blade. This lovely old tool is in good condition. The chisel is about 260mm long with a 12mm edge. The Buyer to perform additional cleaning or further honing, should he require that.

Unfortunately no pick-up of items. I will combine shipments, if requested (auctions within a reasonable period), but this may cost more depending on weight.
