The OWC / Other World Computing 1TB Mercury Elite Pro Mini USB 3.0 External Hard Drive offers 1TB of storage capacity so you can back up important information from your computer or provide additional digital space to store your photos, songs, and videos. With eSATA and USB 3.0 connections, the Mercury Elite Pro mini delivers greater compatibility with a variety of systems when compared to an external drive offering a single interface.

On the inside, OWC has outfitted it with a hard drive that spins at rate of up 7200 rpm and comes armed with 32MB of buffer memory. To power the drive, a bus-powered USB port is required. Aside from power, the shock-resistant housing is made from aluminum that protects and cools the drive. Additionally, included along with the Mercury Elite Pro mini are eSATA, USB 3.0, and DC to USB cables as well as utility software for backups and maintenance.
