P. Holl Lewis - Original Oil on Board, signed, dated - River Scene - R1 N/R

On offer this beautiful original oil painting, done on board and framed, by artist P. Holl Lewis. It is signed by the artist in the lower left corner and dated 1978. It craftfully depicts a river scene with bushveld-type plants and trees on either side of the banks. The painting measures 60x45cm (with frame) and 45x30cm (painting only). All in relatively good condition - the painting has a small scratch in the centre, leaves of the tree scratched to show background paint, (see last pic below), but only visible close up and on close scrutiny, and the frame has a few minor nicks and scratches. I am not familiar with this artist but still it is a lovely piece of art and makes for a lovely display piece.
