| DESCRIPTION | This water colour painting of a vase with roses by South African Artist P LOMBARD is painted very much in the style of Irma Stern. The painting is signed it at bottom right and dated it 1946. It is mounted and framed in the original 1940s solid wooden gilded frame and is also protected by glass. The framed painting is large for a water colour painting and measures 53 x 40 cm and the artwork alone measures 44 x 31 cm. You can see the artwork on auction in this lot in the image above.
