Imagine This dialogue taking place several times a day

Me: Do you want a wee wee?

Child: No

Me : Come and have a go anyway....

(mom pulls child away from play and plonks on potty )

Child: Waaaaaaaaaaa!

(Nothing happens)

It would be pretty annoying as a child who feels they're not being listened to, and wants to get on with playing.

How much easier are things when you can rely on your child telling you they need to go and asking for the toilet or potty, better still just going themselves, even when they are in the middle of playing.
