Info: A lovely pair of ornamental brass figurines, the birds have a beautifully shaped long sharp pointy beak similar to the Toucans, with a slightly longer neck.
These two birds have a lot of character.
Brass plated as there is a slight metallic pull on a magnet that signifies a brass plated metal.
Usually, brass plating is post-treated with lacquer to prevent any tarnishing or discoloration. A brass-plating process is done mainly from cyanide solutions. The solution contains a mixture of copper and zinc cyanides, although zinc can exist in other forms as well.
