They stand 20.5cm tall. Please note the one dog has been broken in the head area and repaired, the other one comes free of damage. 

From the Internet: "In Chinese Mythology, Fu Dogs or Foo Dogs, also known as Chinese guardian lions are said to have protective powers. Fu Dogs are traditional guardians of temples, palaces, tombs, offices, and well-to-do homes. They always appear in pairs, the left side representing the female and the right side representing the male".
