Info: A pair of vintage pewter Bud Vases, tall and slim with an elegant shape to the vase and handle. The footed base of the vase has some discoloring / patina due to aging.
Condition: Good, for a vintage pair of miniature vases.
Pewter is a malleable metal alloy consisting of tin, antimony, copper, bismuth, and sometimes silver. Copper and antimony act as hardeners but lead may be used in lower grades of pewter, imparting a bluish tint.
